How to Tell If You’re in an In-App Browser
Signs you’re in an in-app browser:- The URL bar looks different than usual
- You see the app’s header/controls at the top
- You can’t access browser settings or bookmarks
- Microphone permissions don’t work
How to Open in Safari or Chrome

- Android
From Instagram/TikTok/Facebook:
- Tap the ⋯ (three dots) menu
- Select “Open in Safari” or “Open in Browser”
- Tap and hold the link
- Select “Open in Safari”
- Copy the interview link
- Open Safari
- Paste the link in the address bar

Performance Suggestions

- Or open the interview link on your phone
- Modern phones handle real-time audio very well
- Quit unused browser tabs
- Close other applications
- Restart your browser
- Try again
- Dismiss the suggestion
- Continue with the interview
- If issues occur, switch to phone
